Responsibilities:

As a WordPress & Shopify Developer at Myers Marketing Management, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress & Shopify websites for our clients. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Leveraging action and filter hooks effectively to customize WordPress functionality.

- Understanding and implementing the WordPress template hierarchy to create dynamic web pages.

- Managing .gitattributes for optimized workflow and version control.

- Ensuring site security by adhering to best practices and keeping plugins and themes up-to-date.

- Developing site-specific plugins and optimizing site performance.

- Debugging code and resolving issues promptly.

- Collaborating with the team to brainstorm and implement creative solutions.

- Adhering to best practices, including not editing core files and selecting the right hosting provider.

- Collaborating with design teams to implement site designs created in Figma and actively contribute to the design process using the Figma platform.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 4 years of full-time experience working as a WordPress/Shopify Developer within an agency.

- Proficiency in WordPress development, including theme and plugin development.

- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.

- Experience with Shopify design/development is a plus.

- Experience with Elementor Pro design/development is a plus.

- Attention to detail and a passion for innovation.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
